Visitors are welcome! 23 John Grimes presents on the First Palatine families who traveled from Schoharie New York region to the Tulpehocken area. Learn about their travels from New York to Pennsylvania that began in 1723. 2023 marks the 300th anniversary of the Tulpehocken Settlement. Whether your view point on the Tulpehocken Settlement is as part of your family legacy, or is when those squattors violated that treaty with the Indigenous, and all other perspectives on these events, come to the Lerch for great presentation. Information will be provided about other 300th Anniversary of the Tulpehocken Settlement events that are scheduled for 2023. Meeting starts at 7:00 pm at the Lerch Tavern. The Wernersville Train Station is at 20 East Penn Avenue, Wernersville. The station is at the rear of the parking lot on the corner of Penn Avenue and Werner Street (along the railroad tracks).
